Privacy policy
BlockTheNews makes blocking decisions locally. It does not send the websites you visit, your browsing history, your block list, or your allow list to the subscription service.
Information collection
The extension creates a random installation identifier and sends it with the extension version and platform only when starting a purchase, restoring access, or checking a subscription. Signed entitlement data is stored locally. Payment details are handled by RevenueCat and its payment processors.
Your settings
Block and allow preferences stay in extension storage. On Apple platforms, settings may also sync through your private iCloud key-value store when iCloud is available.
Logs and third parties
BlockTheNews does not transmit visited addresses in logs or analytics. App stores, operating systems, RevenueCat, and payment processors may process purchase, fraud-prevention, crash, or operational information under their own policies.
Changes and contact
